Welcome to Regretify! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Regretify mobile application and any related services provided by Regretify. Please read these Terms carefully before using our App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Regretify App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

Regretify provides a platform for users to anonymously share personal regrets, engage in community discussions, connect with friends, and reflect on past experiences for personal growth. Features include logging regrets, joining or creating communities, chat functionalities, and managing a user profile.

3. User Accounts

a. Registration: To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account.
b. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC)

a. Your Content: You are solely responsible for any content you post, share, or transmit through the App, including regrets, comments, messages, and community posts ("User Content").
b. License to Us: By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with the App and our business, including for promoting the App.
c. Anonymity: While Regretify offers features for anonymous sharing, true anonymity on the internet is difficult to guarantee. We will take reasonable measures to protect the anonymity you choose, but we are not responsible for any disclosure of your identity by you or others. Be mindful of the information you share, even when intending to be anonymous.
d. Responsibility for Content: You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to publish User Content you submit; and the User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights.

5. Community Guidelines and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Post any User Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
• Harm minors in any way.
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Post any User Content that you do_not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships.
• Post any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the App or the servers and networks connected to the App.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor and remove User Content that we, in our sole discretion, deem to be in violation of these Terms or otherwise inappropriate.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Regrtify and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the App or contact us at [Your Contact Email].

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Your use of the App is at your sole risk. The App is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

Regretify does not warrant that a) the App will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the App is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the App will meet your requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Regretify, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; (iii) any content obtained from the App; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least [e.g., 30 days'] notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our App after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
